Underwhelmed

Don't see Corpse Bride... It seemed, ahem, dead (pun intended but not really funny).

Liz and I are both Tim Burton fans (her more than me, though), and when we came out of watching it this past weekend we both felt underwhelmed. It looked really good, just like The Nightmare Before Christmas did, but it felt lacking in every other aspect. I don't know that I can pinpoint any particular thing about it that bothered me, but I know I was falling asleep during some parts of it, and Liz made a good point about it having a weak/predictable plot.

Oh well, at least Willy Wonka was good, :-).
